Rachel is a founding partner and Strategy Director at Ramp. She brings her wisdom in communications, public relations and social media to mentor clients on the power of strategic design to simplify information and transform business. In addition to leading messaging in interactive campaigns, online branding, and user experiences, Rachel continues to shape her client’s communication strategies. In 2008, Rachel was named as one of Graphic Design USA’s “People to Watch.”
She has presented at multiple design conferences and served as an adjunct professor teaching motion graphics and interactive design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and Cal Poly University in Pomona. She is currently teaching interactive design and user experience at Cal State University Los Angeles. Rachel is an active member of AIGA and has served as the VP of Communications on the board for AIGA Los Angeles.
Michael Stinson is a founding partner and the studio’s Creative Director. Over the course of 17 years in the field of design, his work has been recognized by numerous publications and industry organizations, including Communication Arts, Mead Annual Report Show, Potlatch Annual Report Show, Stora Enso Paper Awards, The AR100 and The One Show.
Prior to launching Ramp, Michael created business-transforming work for brands such as Quiksilver, Wet Seal, K2 and Sicor. Michael’s work is renowned for its creativity, intelligence and technical sensibility. His creative direction, aesthetic and experience in multi-disciplinary projects has helped companies successfully elevate their image and strengthen their presence in the marketplace. In 2008, Michael was named as one of Graphic Design USA’s “People to Watch.”
He has lectured on the topics of typography and graphic design at the University of Southern California (USC) and is currently an adjunct lecturer at the College of the Canyons in Valencia. Michael is an active member of AIGA, the Professional Organization of Design, the Type Directors Club (TDC), the Design Management Institute and has served on the board for NIRI Los Angeles, the National Investor Relations Institute.
